Nature being my main focus, I especially shoot landscapes and plants (flowers). But other things (cities, for example) can also play a major role when taking a picture. I try to show a location as it is, with deep silence, but strong in expression.

When travelling, taking photos is my way of making most out of my stay - being a great way to immortalise an impression.

Macro photography is also fascinating me: it is incredible how beautiful and strange objects can be at the same time - just because we're not used to see them from close or because we never seemed to notice.

Photography shouldn't be commercial. Although I sold a few pictures during exhibitions, my aim is not to sell them or to take them in order to show the world. For me, they are mainly a way to express feelings and remind me of the diversity on planet earth (including cultures). Then, it is even more rewarding to see when they are appreciated by others - much more than if made to be that way.
